Title:   The Club (The Club Series Book #1)

Author:   Lauren Rowe

Genre:   Contemporary Romance

Release Day:   January 5, 2015

When playboy businessman Jonas Faraday receives a private note from the anonymous intake agent assigned to process his online application to an exclusive sex club, he becomes obsessed with finding her and giving her the sexual satisfaction she claims has always eluded her, in order to fulfill his own desperate need for redemption.

Sarah : When I read Jonas Faraday’s brutally honest personal message on his application to The Club, I practically climaxed at my desk. I’m an idiot to risk losing my job but I couldn’t resist contacting him. I knew my confession would be like dangling an irresistible carrot in front of his nose—but never in a million years did I think he’d actually hunt me down.

Jonas : I was shocked to get my intake agent’s email—I’d attached that note to my application on a whim, never expecting a reply from an actual person, let alone a reply as mind blowing as that. Her message was so alluring, so irresistible, I’ve been spiraling into a full-blown obsession ever since I got it. What’s her name? What does she look like? Finding her is my top priority.

In The Club , what starts out as an innocent exploration of sexual attraction quickly spirals into a steamy story of unbridled passion, obsession, heartbreak, and, ultimately, redemption.

Excerpt #1

I sit down on the bed, my erection poking up from beneath my towel. I can’t stop staring at the picture.

“Thank you,” I type. “You’re beautiful. I can’t stop looking at the photo. I’m totally obsessed.”

“I know the feeling,” her reply comes back immediately.

I practically growl with excitement upon getting her reply. “Tell me your name,” I quickly write.

“No,” she replies—again, immediately.

I can barely contain myself. This woman is somewhere in this city right now, staring at me through her computer screen. My heart is racing. “Not fair. You know my name,” I type.

“Life isn’t fair.”

I half-smile at my screen. “Ain’t that the truth,” I type. Truer words were never spoken. I sigh. “If not your name, tell me something else. How about your age?”

“I just turned 24.”

I’m thrilled. She finally threw me a bone. And I’m relieved, too—twenty-four is good. Very good. “See? That wasn’t so hard. Happy Birthday,” I type, smiling.

“Thank you.”

“Pisces, then?”

“Oh my God. You did not just ask me, ‘What’s your sign?’”

I laugh out loud. “Yeah, I guess I did. I’m dumb like that sometimes.”

“With cheesy pickup lines like that, it’s clearly thanks to your supernatural good looks and not your sparkling personality that you’ve managed to be worshipped as a supreme sex-god by so many. Gosh, I expected a little more panache from you, Mr. Faraday. Aren’t you supposed to be some kind of woman wizard? Oh, wait, that’s only inside the four walls of your bedroom—never on the outside.”

I can’t help but smile from ear to ear. She’s kicking my ass again. I love it. “You’re right. I’m not very good at this.” And it’s true. I mean, I can talk to women, of course. I can even flirt. Sort of. But I’ve never been great at doing it. And especially not in a situation like this—when I can’t look into her eyes and get a read on her. “I’m hopeless at small talk,” I type.

“There’s no such thing.”

“No such thing as small talk?”

“No such thing as hopelessness. There’s always hope. ‘We must accept infinite disappointment, but never lose infinite hope.’”

Oh God. My cock has been leaping and lurching throughout our entire exchange, but my brain just joined the fray, too. “Who said that?”

“Martin Luther King Jr.,” she types.

She’s a whole new breed of woman I’ve never encountered before. I exhale loudly. “Here’s one,” I type. “’Hope is the dream of a waking man.’”
“Oh, I like that. Who’s that?”

“That’d be an awesome episode of Epic Rap Battles of History—Martin Luther King Jr. vs. Aristotle. Hard to say who’d win.”

I grunt. “Stop trying to distract me, My Beautiful Intake Agent. I know exactly what you’re trying to do, but I demand to know more about you. Come on.”

“Okay, okay. You’ve worn me down, especially when you ‘demand’ like that. You’re so manly when you do that, by the way—I like it. Okay, here’s everything: I am a woman. I am 24. I have a Maltese named Kiki. I buy her little outfits with rhinestones on them. She is my world. The End.”

She’s killing me right now, even as I’m laughing out loud. “Come on. Please. Tell me something real,” I type.

I sigh. Jesus, she’s frustrating. “Because you know everything and I know nothing. It’s not fair. Where’s your sense of fair play and justice?”

“Just so you know, I’m sighing right now. Oh, and rolling my eyes, too.”

“Okay, okay. You wore me down again. You’re so persuasive, Mr. Faraday. Irresistible! Okay, here you go: Blah, blah, blah. Prelude, prelude, prelude.”

I burst out laughing. That’s fucked up. I never under any other circumstance would have disclosed my thoughts about “prelude” to a woman—especially a woman I’m trying to get into bed.

Holy Jonas! The author knows how to take her readers and give them a fun, hot, sizzling, blazing read to start your heart racing! The plot is original and she not only made it fun throughout because of the scenario but then goes and drew me into it with the kicker and twist of the story.  Let me define my thoughts a little more. Jonas.. Womanizer,  sexy, arrogant,  but he definitely knows how tp deliver you to heaven.  I would love to have a Jonas any day. Sarah, smart, curves,  beautiful and is going to law school. How can these two meet. Well by chance of her job as an Intake agent of The Club. Now I can’t tell you about the Club its a secret and you have to read it. Trust me you will not be regretting you picked this diamond up. Has Jonas finally met his match when he meets Sarah because she is very very straightforward!!! I loved the bantor with the emails and then what he did afterwards because it was kind of like a lifeline for him.  I loved the entire novel from beginning to end!!! When I tell you the author holds NOTHING back I mean it. I had laugh out loud, awww, and holy smokes moments. She definitely is very passionate in her writing and I am able to tell by reading this and how exceptionally this was written and flawless. This is a start to a trilogy but you will be invested and wanting to know what happens next especially after the WOW FACTOR the author distributes at the end. This is by far one of my favorite!! Check it out and see why I highly recommended THE CLUB! !!

Rodeo Queen

Catie Bay has worshiped much older Chad McCray since she was a child. When she fumbles a seduction attempt after her graduation from high school, she flees to Europe. Four years later, she returns a beautiful, worldly woman, and Chad takes notice. Is the rodeo queen still in love with the sexy cowboy, and is he capable of returning her feelings?

Taming Angelina

Learn to run a ranch? Angelina Bay would rather wear last season’s clothes. But if she doesn’t, her father commands, she can kiss her inheritance goodbye

Teach a spoiled heiress how to ride a horse? Not in this lifetime. Rafe Grayhawk is busy enough as a ranch hand, saving every extra penny to fund his chronically ill father’s move to Arizona—until beautiful Angelina makes him an offer he can’t refuse.

Rafe’s rules are simple—show up on time for lessons and do everything he tells her. Angie balks at authority, but soon riding lessons with the handsome hand are the least of her problems. She may lose her ranch anyway, and Rafe is the only person who can help her.

When Catie’s margarita came, she took a long drink. The salt around the rim stung her lips, chapped from the dry air on the plane.

Nothing like it.

She chugged the rest and stood up, her head a bit hazy. When had she last eaten? On the plane sometime.

“I want to dance,” she announced, and grabbed her handsome cowboy’s arm. “Come on, Chad.”

“Little bit,” Chad said, as she dragged him away, “are you sure you want to do this?”

“Sure I’m sure,” Catie said. “It’s just a dance.”

“You drank that ’rita awful fast, sugar.”

Sugar? She liked the sound of that. “A little tequila, a little Garth Brooks, a little dance with a handsome cowboy. Sounds like heaven.”

“Whatever you say, little bit.”

“Little bit?” She looked into his eyes, so dark they were nearly black. They seemed to smoke. “I like sugar better.”

“Okay,” he drawled. “Come on.” He snaked his arms around her waist. “Let’s cut the rug, sugar.”

The song wasn’t made for slow dancing, but the crowd on the dance floor necessitated closeness between them. Chad’s hard body crushed against her, and her pulse quickened.

“I’m glad you decided not to ignore me all night.”

“Ignore you?”

“Yeah, you talking on and on with Amber, when it’s clear to a saint you and she have nothin’ at all in common.” He chuckled. “You sure have changed, little…I mean, sugar,” Chad said. “I hardly recognized you.”

“It’s been four years, Chad.”

“What happened to the little girl who loved horses more than people?”

“She’s still in here.”

“I admit, I sure was surprised you left your mare. You must have had a huge reason for leaving the country.”

“Oh, I did.”

“What was it?”

“Maybe I’ll tell you sometime,” she said coyly.

“Okay, sugar.” He chuckled. “I’ll hold you to that.”

The music changed from fast to slow, and she leaned into Chad’s muscles, closed her eyes, and inhaled. Leather. Leather and cinnamon. And Chad. Musky, male, perfect Chad. If anything, he’d become even more appealing in the four years she’d been gone.

They swayed gently to the music, their bodies melting together in all the right places. Catie slipped into a dreamworld, a world she hadn’t dared visit in the last four years. A world she’d thought she could forget.

No. She couldn’t forget. They might have only this one dance, but she’d make it worthwhile. She pulled away just a smidge and stared up into Chad’s face. She wanted only to look at him, to drink him in. But his dark eyes smoldered, and she read something in them. Something she couldn’t quite decipher.

“Sugar?” His voice cracked. Just a little, but she noticed.

He shook his head slightly. “Goddamn, sugar.”

He lowered his mouth to hers.

Hot Cowboys that will knock you on your tails, what can I say I’m a sucker for them. This author has done an excellent job in bringing you not one but two stories that will melt your heart, e reader, and other parts of your body. From the characters to the plot line I was in love. The flow of the story was flawless and you had plenty of hot tension mixed in with comical relief. Catie has known since she was a little girl who her heart belongs to. She is beautiful, smart, but clumsy. However, that one night tore her heart and she flees to try start over. I felt so sorry because even after everything she did her heart and faith still wouldn’t let her move on. Trust me she comes back with a mission and he better watch out. Chad, playboy, sweet but honest to the core. I almost fell sorry for this sexy cowboy because Catie puts him through a lot to get his attention (lets just say men can only stand so much). One lie though may ruin it all or will it? These two are such firecrackers and the sparks are out of this world that I couldn’t out it down.

The second part of this is about Catie spoiled rotten sister Angie (I swear I couldn’t stand her even from a glimpse in the first part). But she definitely learns a hard lesson when everything crumbles down and the realization that there is more to the world. Her heart has totally confused her. Now that is when I felt sorry for her because of the pain she went through. Rafe has worked hard his entire life, is a kind hearted sexy ranch hand whose dreams are for making his dad a better home. See how sweet is that. However, when a snotty princess walks in demanding things, he decides she needs to learn some respect. I loved the bantor between these two. Talk about patience and trust me there is a lot needed in this relationship.

Both of these stories can be read as a standalone but they are also interlinked together by reappearing characters. I will have to go read the first set and can not wait to find out about the next two. If you lobe reading sexy cowboys and love that takes more than just a quick look then pick up these fantastic novels you will m or regret it.

A Fairytale Romance by Elodie Parkes

AFairyTaleRomance-tourbannerThank you for inviting me to your blog today with my new Evernight Publishing release, ‘A Fairy Tale Romance’
The story is contemporary, fantasy romance. It’s set along the coast in the sumptuous Mediterranean, and bathed in warmth, which I felt was a fitting venue to contrast with the stark misery of my hero’s predicament.
The story is modelled on old fairy story motifs, where there is a fairy godmother style character, a prince and a princess. I so enjoyed writing this story because Thorn Valmont, my hero, is such a lovely, romantic man and deserves to be freed from the curse that befalls him. This is a sizzler of a story with erotic love scenes and threads of fairy tale mystery as we wonder what has happened to Thorn and how he’ll escape his lonely life.

fairytaleromance1l - CopyWhen delectable Thorn Valmont buys an old palace to renovate on the Mediterranean coast, he never dreams it will cost him his freedom.
Thorn is part of an aristocratic family. He’s a prince and must find his princess to solve a puzzle he inherits from the ancient owners of the Mediterranean palace.
Will he find her in time to stop his loneliness destroying him completely?

The memory of the young woman’s long slim legs and firm thighs filled his head as he walked home. He imagined caressing her. He would trail his fingertips up the back of her thighs to tease inside the cutoff bottoms of her shorts. It was so long since he’d felt the skin of a woman and yet he could almost conjure up that softness at the top of a thigh where it joined the enticing base of her ass. Thorn sighed sadly and shook his head. He had never come to terms with his lack of sex. Sometimes, after a week or so of ignoring his needs he would masturbate before darkness fell. He always felt better afterwards and told himself to do it more often, to give himself that comfort, but often sadness stole away the notion and he’d drift through his existence until he suddenly realized he needed the release of orgasm.
Thorn knew that he needed it now, before darkness fell. He practically sprinted up the zigzag path to his home, resolved to ease the pain of loneliness that the sight of the lovely young woman had deepened. Inside his bedroom, he closed his eyes and found it easy to picture her mouth, the plump bottom lip, the way her hair tendrils had stroked there, and then he unzipped his jeans.
He paused and thrust away the memory of Grace. He needed quick relief.
Thorn brought to mind one of the last real sexual encounters he’d had with a woman. It was a hot memory and one he’d used before. They’d met at a party, instantly attracted in a superficial sexual way, they agreed to a moonlit tryst in the garden of the big house where the party was being held.
He’d stalked to the girl waiting in a small stand of trees, stripped her quickly, and lifted her to slide with her to the grass. His arm around her bare waist, and a hand cupping her pussy, he’d subconsciously stored away the feel of her wet arousal on his palm and could bring that to mind.
He recalled the words she’d said to him then, as he took his cock in his fist and pumped.
She had said, “Fuck me. Fuck me hard. I want everything, your tongue, your fingers, and your cock in me. I want to suck you until you moan and your cum fills my mouth.”
Thorn groaned as his cock hardened and he whispered the words, “Fuck me.” He pictured licking the girl’s pussy, her legs wide apart as she lay in the grass and his stomach clenched. His orgasm teased at him and he leaned on the edge of the chest of drawers bent over with the urgent need to come as he built a rhythm. He focused on the memory of her nipples between his lips, the way she’d sucked his cock, the taste of her cream on his tongue. Thorn pumped hard and his orgasm suddenly burned through him. As the waves of pleasure coursed in his balls and forced the cum to spurt in warm streaks over the back of his hand, he saw Grace as she’d looked at him on the beach. He saw her green eyes and perfect lips. The picture in his mind added sweetness to the orgasm. He shuddered and groaned.
