Zombies- as if that wasn’t enough to ruin any girl’s dream of a happily ever after.

It’s been six months since Reagan Willow fled the Colony and Matthias Allen’s tyrannical clutches. Six months since she broke Hendrix Parker’s heart. Six months since she watched Kane Allen sacrifice his life to save hers.

Whatever was left of her already-tattered life during the Zombie Apocalypse fell apart six months ago. Now, on the cusp of crossing the Mexican border, there is hope that she might lead her friends to a better existence.

Except Zombies are only the beginning of their problems. Reagan and her friends must battle the elements, armies of Feeders and bounty hunters desperate to drag them back to the Colony to face their greatest threat.

The Colony’s power stretches wide and far. Their only hope is to outrun Matthias and get to Mexico.

Zombies- as if that wasn’t enough to ruin any girl’s dream of a happily ever after.

A vaccination gone oh so wrong and a huge portion of the world’s population was turned into Zombies. Reagan Willow is forced out of her home when her parents become casualties of the horrid Zombie Apocalypse. With the help of her best friend Haley, they’ve become somewhat of experts on surviving the dangers of a world thrust into chaos and decay.

Reagan and Haley are on a vague mission to find somewhere safe to live out the remainders of their terrifying life when they stumble upon the Parkers, a pack of brothers that seem to have the survival thing down in a much more efficient and successful way than Reagan could ever have imagined. They are also protecting their eight year old sister, Page, and will do anything to keep her safe.

The brothers decide that Reagan and Haley need help with being kept safe as well, and as a group they set off to find the Zombie-free utopia Reagan is dreaming of.

Zombies are a daily problem, constantly threatening the lives of their group, but they’re not the only peril on the journey ahead. Militia groups of power hungry men are also a constant concern. And settlements of paranoid, suspicious people turn out to be just as hazardous.

Danger looms over every inch of the way, but Reagan, Haley and the Parkers are determined to get to their goal and remain together. Soon the Parkers become more to Reagan than just traveling companions and more than friendship starts to develop between her and Hendrix, the second oldest brother.

But at the end of the world, nothing can be as simple as life and death. Now, Reagan is going to have to schedule falling in love between hunting and surviving. Hopefully she can last long enough to find out if true love can still exist when everything else has started to fall apart.

Love and Decay, Volume One, is a compilation of the first six episodes in a twelve episode season. It is a Dystopian Romance Novella Series about Zombies, the end of the world and finding someone to share it with.

 Synopsis:

London, 1853.

Despite Lady Catherine’s love of fencing, she needs to stop pretending to be a boy and fraternizing with men…but not until after the fencing tournament! Her mother plans to marry her off by the end of the season, so this will be her last chance to enjoy her freedom. When she impulsively puts her reputation at risk to save the life of a dashing competitor, all seems lost when he sees through her disguise, but he vows never to reveal her secret. Thank goodness for gentlemanly honor!

Daniel, Marquess of Huntley, wants to overcome the rumors of his father’s madness so that he can be embraced by London society. His plan is to marry the most proper woman who will have him, and then raise stable, respectable children.  He certainly isn’t interested in some hoyden with a penchant for masquerading as a boy and flaunting society’s rules. In fact, he’d prefer to keep his distance.

When an obsessed suitor discovers Catherine’s secret and threatens blackmail, the only path out of social ruin is marriage. But what kind of protection does matrimony provide when a vengeful suitor is plotting the ultimate revenge?

Excerpt~
Daniel downed the glass of Glenfarclas in one swallow. “My plan isn’t progressing at all,” he said.

“Yes, of course. Your ridiculous plan.”

Daniel shifted under his friend’s amused gaze. “I’m having trouble finding a highly respected woman who is willing to align herself with someone as—as unusual as I am. I believe ‘colorful’ is the most polite word I’ve heard used to describe me. Although I’ve also heard the words ‘bourgeois’ and ‘unbalanced’ bandied about.”

“Stop it.” Wentworth scowled at him. “With your title, you outrank everyone except a duke and the members of the royal family. Nobody would dare snub you.”

“Perhaps not openly, but once they factor in my shipping business, my lack of polish, my mother’s low birth, and the rumors of my father’s madness, I’m beyond redemption in the eyes of most members of London society.” He downed the contents of his glass in a single swallow, savoring the burn that turned into a spreading warmth. “The thing that provides me with the most satisfaction is the very thing these people find the most damning. My shipping business.”

“Why do you care what they think?” Wentworth said as he gestured angrily toward Daniel. “Why place so much emphasis on propriety? After all, your primary goal in this is to find a woman who can provide you with an heir, isn’t it? Why complicate the issue by insisting that she and her family also be paragons of propriety? Don’t you see your own hypocrisy?”

Daniel thumped his glass down on the sideboard and pulled the stopper from the decanter, sloshing another inch of liquid into his tumbler. “I know I’m not a saint, but I refuse to put my children through the same hell I endured.” He turned and glared at his friend. “You, better than anyone, know how much I suffered at Eton. You were there with me. How can you ask me why?”

Daniel clenched the glass as he remembered those first few months at Eton. The loneliness and abuse he’d endured had nearly broken him. He’d begun to believe everyone’s taunts. They were right about him. He was no good. Especially after the horrible things he’d done. They were unforgivable. How could he ever redeem himself?

The dogs of melancholy had nipped at his heels as they tried to chase him to ground. His depression must have been only a faint echo of what his father experienced on a daily basis, and it explained why the man had escaped into a bottle, eventually descending into madness. What if Daniel was destined for the same path? What if his regrets drove him mad as well?

The author has struck again and written a work of art in my opinion! Sometimes you can find yourself having a lag moment when you read some novels but not with Lady Catherine Secret!  In a world that a women is purely for looks and put on a marriage market with a dowry you will find one Lady Catherine who takes society and makes a mock of it. She is independent, fiery,  and loves fencing.  With the help of her brother she will defy everything including dressing up as a boy for the sport.  How long can she sport two worlds before it collides?  Daniel, a  marquess, is on the prowl for a wife but he does have some traits she has to have. However,  when Catherine’s Secrets is found out and is blackmailed to marriage! With mystery,  suspense,  romance, the author has created  deliciously reading material that will have you falling in love with the characters and plot until the very end. Oh what I wouldn’t give to be on the other end of Daniel’s kiss! Let’s not forget the gorgeous cover that caught my eye (for those that know me I love covers), this is one that is perfect for this story and time! It has meaning and as you read the story you will see the meaning behind the cover! Beautiful work for an amazingly written novel! Behind every prince is a story left untold.
Look behind the mask and you’ll see it unfold…

Sawyer has lived a charmed life. He’s the catch every girl is after when dreaming of her very own storybook ending. In real life, though, nothing is like it is in a fairytale. One childhood event can forever affect how a man looks at love and relationships, even a golden guy like Sawyer.

Those who forget the past are doomed to repeat it. Isn’t that what everyone has always taught in history class? He doesn’t have time for love or commitment.
Even the most skeptical with love can sometimes find it in the strangest of places, when that one special someone catches his eye, suddenly leaving him dazed and confused.

The only way to reap the benefits of true love is to put your own demons behind and give love a shot…

When secrets start to arise will the two beat the odds or part ways and let it destroy them both?

I stare in the mirror as I admire the new lingerie I have to wear tonight. The club gives us an allowance on uniform every month, because it’s a top end club. There are no lower class sleezeballs here. This is where the big dogs come out and play. This is the most private club in town. If you knew who some of our highest paying customers were you would know why. I have a birthday party that’s reserved the front table of the stage tonight, a group of 10 men, all drunk off of their asses. I can tell a few of them are newbies by their drooling, excited demeanor.
This is what makes my job interesting and fun: breaking them in. A man gets a good first time and they’ll be coming back for more, meaning more cash for me. I place my tall heel into the seat of my chair and rub baby oil down my leg, giving me a sexy edge. Plus, it keeps the hands from going past the point of restriction.
I finish the other leg and take one final look in the mirror. It’s a sexy version of a clown; a white babydoll trimmed in all of the bright colors; the birthday hat and the sexy makeup top if off. My ruffle front thong in orange is the final dessert of the hour.
I paint my lips with a matching cherry red lipstick like my name and smack them in the mirror. “Cherry, you’re up in ten. Don’t keep them waiting. This is my biggest payout of the night.”
I roll my eyes in the mirror at the sound of Roger’s voice as he pokes his head inside the door. Show the man green and he’d lease us out in private hotels I’m sure.
He would never admit that though. “I’ll be right out, Roger.” He likes me though, because something about my pretty face keeps his pockets full.
I’ve already been up on stage a few times tonight, so for now I’m circulating the room. A man with a smirk approaches me and gives me a wad of cash, a hefty tip to take the birthday boy to the VIP room for a private lap dance. This guy has some nice friends. A private lap dance is easily a grand and paid up front to Roger. It is explained that’s
before the tip.
I head to the VIP room to get ready for my dance, greeting Gerry at the door. All private rooms have a bouncer keeping guard to ensure that the women are safe at all times. As I’m getting my music queued up, I hum softly under my breath and wait for my client to arrive. I don’t have to wait long when there is a knock at the door.
Greeting me on the other side of the door is an incredibly sexy man. Something about his face looks familiar, but I can’t place it. He has dark hair, intense green eyes, and is physically fit by the defined muscle protruding from his fitted shirt. He must have come here right after work, because he is wearing a suit, but he’s removed his jacket and tie and rolled up the sleeves of his dress shirt, revealing tattoos running up his arms.
I don’t know what it is about a man with rolled up sleeves and tattoos, but it turns me on in a way I don’t understand. Maybe it’s the business meets bad boy persona. Whatever it is has me motivated to get closer to him, making my job easier.
I approach him at the door. “Hi, I’m Cherry.”
He studies me for a moment with heated eyes. The way he looks at me is as if he’s seen me before, like he knows me. “Hi,
Cherry.” My name rolls off his tongue in the most sexual manner, causing a rush of excitement between my legs. This is going to be fun: sexy and seductive.
The music starts to play and I place one hand in the center of my sexy stranger’s chest, grabbing a fistful of black material. I drag him over to the seating area and turn, pushing him backwards until he falls onto the couch behind him, chuckling. “Damn,” he says, egging me on.
I place each hand on the back of the couch to each side of his shoulders and flip my hair from side to side. It starts the full body roll that follows, pressing each segment of skin to his clothing. I stand and turn, closing in on him. I shake my ass against his crotch, hardening beneath me. While cupping my breasts I roll my head back, grinding to the beat of the music. Turning my head to the side, I watch his eyes glaze over as I touch my body, skimming my hands down in a slow motion. I continue gyrating on his lap, listening to his breathing pick up, confirming the arousal that is pressing into the crack of my ass. I breathe in deeply…smelling his citrusy aftershave; something I would say is unique to him.
I get lost in the music and this sexy man pressed against my backside, as I allow him to become familiar with my body. Time stands still…for a while. I hear him grunt, praising me for the havoc I’m causing on his cock, and he isn’t even naked. I finish out the dance as the song comes to an end. He stands and I watch as he fishes in his pockets. He pulls out a wad of cash, handing it all to me. I stand here and stare at him in shock. I brush it off and reach for it, but he doesn’t immediately turn it loose. “How much for house calls?”
I’m about to say something, anything to deny his question, but he beats me to the punch. “Listen, I don’t usually come to places like this, but I’m here, and now that I am I kind of like it. You have a beautiful body. Let me show you what I can do with mine,” he finishes quietly.
What a generous man, but I can tell he enjoyed the dance from the large bulge at the front of his pants, so I know what he’s referring to. “I don’t think so, sweetie.”
I’m ready to thank him and leave when he grabs my hand, pulling me to him. He presses his lips to mine before I even know what’s happening. I can taste the whiskey on his breath. Poor guy is so drunk I don’t think he knows what he’s asking me, but the way his hands introduce themselves to my backside I can’t be sure. He pulls away and touches his index finger to my lips, silencing me. “Think about it. The club closes at two. I’ll be outside waiting if you decide to take me up on my offer. Sometimes outside of the norm can be
freeing…”

He turns and walks away, leaving me standing here alone. I’m not sure what the hell just happened, but I find myself considering it. I never do this. There’s one
reason why….”
