Mia Langdon—tomb raider and adventure-seeker—has everything she wants. Freedom. Independence. No chains (a.k.a. a man). Her troubles begin when she’s attacked on a dig in Peru. Soon, she’s forced to use her tomb raiding talents to find the flaming arrows of an Egyptian goddess. In the wrong hands, this weapon could destroy the human race—and nearly had. Used to doing things her own way, it isn’t long before she figures out that she needs the help of Harrison Braden Stanton, her stuffy, but so yummy, Egyptologist and ex-lover. There’s one problem. He despises what she does. As Mia and Harrison find themselves in the middle of a battle between the Egyptian gods and goddess, there’s no choice for the woman with a Grand Canyon-sized independence streak and the man working for the Egyptian god, Osiris, but to work together to prevent the destruction of all they love.

Review by Sue Ellen:

When everything that you think you have everything figured out and then in a blink of an eye not only do you die but you find out that humanity is depending you to save them. Oh and lets not forget that your going for your PHD in archeology and an exotic belly dancer by night? Ok if this hasn’t gotten your attention yet then you really don’t know what your missing, because you also get introduced to demons and fallen angels. The cover immediately had me because not only do I know and love cultural aspects when it comes to books but you see an angel with dark wings on the cover, can you guess what else is involved. That’s right amazingly hot angels, or fallen! This author knows how to deliver a story from the beginning it starts off with a heroine who you immediately can do nothing but love her, Lexi has the feisty attitude, intelligence, and the banter that come out of both her and Mikos makes you want to laugh. She has to be my favorite character in this book. Mikos is the fallen angel put in charge over Lexi and boy does he have his hands full this time. However, all of the characters that the author introduced were very interesting and kept you well interested in the book. The story line is filled with many twists, paranormal, and action that will keep you on the edge of your seat, and there is no places in the novel that will bore you in this one! I highly recommend Key of Solomon especially if you enjoy cultural or paranormal type novels. I am looking forward to see what else this author has in store for her readers after reading this one.

I was given a complimentary copy in exchange for an honest review.
